Our residents have fascinating life stories which our team love to hear about and celebrate during their time in the home. At Estia Health Maroochydore, resident Helga turned 94 and to help celebrate her birthday, the team put on a special meal just for her.

For decades Helga owned and ran a very famous restaurant in Darwin. She shared this with the team, including a copy of the original menu – the team set about recreating this menu, designing and printing it as part of the experience. A fellow resident even remembered dining in the restaurant, many years ago at its peak in the 70s!
