EstiaAcademy partners win Diamond status at LearnX® Awards 2023
Our EstiaAcademy supports our employees to develop skills and confidence in the every day aspects of their roles. To achieve this, we have recently partnered with external content and learning design experts, Obvious Choice and Lucid Virtual Solutions. These learning solutions are tailored to meet the business needs and challenges and deliver best practice learning to our teams.
These projects were recognized at the LearnX® Awards 2023, with Diamond Award status for each project. The LearnX awards aim to uncover the most innovative learning projects and solutions, delivering best practice and value to enterprises. Our two projects were:
- Responding to Challenging Behaviours
- Emergency Management Microlearning
The responding to challenging behaviours project, which we partnered with Lucid Virtual Solutions to create, supports our workforce with strategies to recognize, manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours in the workplace. It also assists in managing our own states when faced with confronting and challenging behaviour. This ultimately helps to maintain safe working environments.
The emergency management microlearning project, partnered with Obvious Choice, was developed through a total re-design of our emergency management training approach. The microlearning courses were developed to deliver learning in bite size modules, allowing learners to digest key concepts and learn new practices throughout the year. This approach which supports learning in the flow of work, and complements the broader training approach for emergency management created efficiencies and improved learning retention. Our people also rated their experience of the learning highly.
We are super proud of the work that we have done in these projects and that the learning industry has endorsed the design projects.
