Meet Tim, Tim works at Estia Health Glen Waverley as our Lifestyle Coordinator, which means he organises and delivers lifestyle programs that are reflective of the residents’ interests and abilities. The lifestyle program includes arts and crafts, music and other various forms of entertainment that enriches the residents’ social, cognitive and physical capabilities. It is a crucial role within each of our homes.

So, what’s different about Tim? Well, Tim was previously a building and interior designer. However, he changed careers because he felt it was his calling to support the elderly, so he left the building industry to work in community services, studied and then moved into aged care. He then joined Estia Health Glen Waverley in 2022.

Born in Singapore he speaks multiple languages including Cantonese and Mandarin, which is a terrific boost for our Chinese residents. Tim is an extremely popular employee who has had the most wonderful feedback. Thank you, Tim for the wonderful difference you make each day at Estia Health.
