Candy, Client Services Officer
The client services role is important as it’s focused on making sure residents and their families have the best experience possible at all different stages of living in one of our homes. From the first enquiry to the big moment of moving in, then getting settled and becoming part of the home over the following weeks, days and months.
Candy joined the Estia Health Epping team in 2013 as a member of the care team, but within a few short months she was invited to join the lifestyle team involved in creating and delivering engaging activities for residents. Candy then started working in the role of Client Services Officer where she initially worked two days per week before moving into the role full-time.
Candy loves to talk to the residents, listening to their stories as they share photographs of their lives. She enjoys the hospitality aspect of her role, being the warm and welcoming face people first see when they enter the home and bringing joy and happiness to the residents, their families and people she works with. With no family in Australia Candy says of the Estia Health Epping home ‘I’m very proud to be part of this wonderful family. I’ve built many friendships here and feel like we’re all family to each other’.
