Care Directors work alongside the home’s Residential Aged Care Manager and are responsible for leading the clinical team, ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes for our residents and a true person-centred care approach. 

Beginning her career as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) before progressing to become a Registered Nurse in paediatrics, orthopaedics and community nursing, Jane has worked for Estia Health for the past six years. Jane is passionate about delivering high-quality care to residents who often have complex clinical care needs. ‘I really love the way Estia Health embraces the clinical care needs of residents and combined with our family code approach, we work with the rest of the team, to deliver the best experience possible’. 

‘In my role as Care Director, I pride myself in delivering quality clinical care to our residents; often they come to us requiring a high level of care. We’re able to provide this alongside other health care services. So, as an example, that could include hydration, where we work closely with GP’s or community nurses to administer fluids, or certain medications. This means they don’t need to return to hospital and can stay here in their home, where they feel safe and comfortable.’
