Estia Health Maroochydore is a modern and welcoming, home that opened in 2019 in the recently developed Sunshine Cove complex, joining our three other homes on the Sunshine Coast. Situated in a beautiful residential spot, the home has views across tranquil waterways with easy access to waterfront pathways and the complex’s services, including a medical centre and shops.
The experienced clinicians, carers and hospitality teams look after all aspects of a resident’s care, including clinical, social and overall wellbeing, and offer palliative care services, which can be accessed for short-term respite care or a longer stay. The home’s Memory Support Unit provides a safe and supportive environment for residents requiring additional support.
The home offers spacious single rooms with ensuite. With a lovely café at the entrance with bi-fold windows opening to the outside, internal gardens and courtyards with raised garden beds offer tranquil and peaceful environments for residents and families. The home has a rich and diverse range of activities including a very active knitting club, regular scenic outings, visiting pets and its very own bird aviary with resident finches.

The home is managed by our Residential Aged Care Manager who oversees the running of the aged care home to ensure residents have the best experience possible, with our Care Director leading a skilled nursing team rostered on duty 24/7, supported by care, hospitality and lifestyle teams, all focused on enriching and celebrating residents’ lives.

What will it cost?
When moving into an aged care home the amount you pay will depend on the home and room you choose, your own circumstances and means to pay for the available care and services. Your accommodation and care costs may be partly or fully covered by the government, which will be determined by a means assessment.
