Our chef prepares meals daily for residents
A nutritional experience
We understand the importance of a well-prepared, home-cooked meal and our chef takes pride in providing nutritionally balanced meals that are cooked fresh, daily to meet residents' diverse dietary needs and preferences.
Each day we serve three main meals; breakfast, lunch, dinner and three lighter selections; morning tea, afternoon tea and supper. Residents can also enjoy a range of snacks between our regular meal services.
The food and lifestyle teams work together to deliver special experiences for residents. This can typically include high teas as well as special events to celebrate important milestones in the year, with themed activities and food choices.
A sample daily menu:
Breakfast
Continental breakfast with a choice of cereals and breads and creamy scrambled eggs
Morning tea
Freshly baked scones served with strawberry jam and cream and a selection of tea, coffee or juices
Lunch
A choice of:
Atlantic salmon, chicken parmigiana or roast chicken salad served with crunchy chips and creamy coleslaw
Apricot crumble with ice cream
A choice of beverages including beer and wine
Afternoon tea
Arnott's biscuits with a selection of tea, coffee or juices
Dinner
Chicken and corn soup
Irish stew or ham and cheese salad served with mashed potato and steamed broccoli
Fruit salad with ice cream
A choice of beverages including beer and wine
Supper
Tea, coffee, Milo, Arnott's biscuits and sandwiches
