About us
We feel privileged and proud that we are able to support older Australians and their families at such an important time in their lives
Why Estia Health?
At Estia Health, we exist to enrich and celebrate life together. We create residential aged care homes where everyone is welcome. Homes that reflect the residents who choose us, the local communities around us and the people that support and work with us.
Estia Health operates 75 homes in SA, VIC, NSW and QLD. We care for over 8,000 residents every year and support them and their family at an incredibly important time in their lives. We embrace diversity and welcome residents from all walks of life.
Our principles and values
Our residents, their families and our employees often say they feel as if they’re part of the Estia Health family, which is why our organisation’s purpose is built on the foundations of our family code: family where everyone belongs. This is brought to life through a set of five principles, guided by our values, which our employees demonstrate daily in their varied and valued roles.

Our approach to sustainability
We know that for our organisation to have a sustainable future, it is dependent on the wellbeing of our people, supporting and integrating within our local communities and the continued health of the natural environment. We have a Sustainability Strategy with three key focus areas and associated targets (to achieve by 2024) to help us reduce any potential negative impacts to the sustainability of our organisation and enhance our ability to deliver trusted, high-quality care to older Australians.
Our corporate governance
Estia Health is built on the foundations of strong governance, with experienced approved Board members supported by an Executive team leading the organisation to responsibly manage Estia Health and maintain a high-quality experience for residents and their families.
Our strong governance framework includes committees with experts, including senior clinicians to help enable the care in our homes to consistently meet and exceed required standards and that any potential risks are identified and managed so that our residents receive the highest levels of care in a safe and supportive environment.
With each decision made in our organisation, this evolves around the 8,000 residents we care for annually. We adhere to several strict reporting and governance standards, which means we provide regular publicly available financial reporting. This establishes a regular and transparent approach to sharing information about our organisation.

Our partners
We have a number of partnerships that play a key role in our ability to deliver the best care possible to our residents.
Our partnerships support us to train and educate our people, have quality produce and products in the daily care we offer and a true resident-centred approach with access to broader healthcare services that meet residents’ mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
We have long-standing partnerships with allied health providers, tertiary education organisations and Universities and continue to develop these partnerships that we believe help us deliver to our purpose to enrich and celebrate life together.
Acknowledgement of Country
Estia Health acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
