About the role
Estia Health Kadina is a 71 bed facility located North of Adelaide. Estia Heakth Kadina have a great opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse or an experienced Registered Nurse looking to take the next step into a well supported role providing clinical guidance to the wider team. The role would be suited to an experienced Aged Care advocate with specialised training in different facets of the multi discipline industry. 

Working closely with the Facility Manager and the Care Manager, the Clinical Nurse specialist will oversee the provision of care and will provide clinical leadership to inspire the nursing and caring staff to provide the best possible care to our residents'.
In addition, the Clinical Nurse Specialist with also provide support through:


  • The submission of accurate and timely ACFI documentation 
  • Assisting with accreditation compliance requirements especially those related to clinical standards and contributing to compliance with Estia's policies, procedures and quality management system
  • Liaising with residents' and their family members to ensure all concerns are received, documented and resolved appropriately and promptly
  • Contribution to continuous improvement and maintain the current plan for continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an RN with postgraduate experience
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in aged care
  • Staff management skills including recruitment, performance management and rostering would be preferred
  • A willingness to learn and hit the ground running
  • Commitment to quality and a broad knowledge of all facets of contemporary aged care including ACFI funding and Accreditation
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Utmost respect, empathy and a passion for aged care
  • Quality audit experience
