About the role 
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join an ASX200 company. Working in a dynamic and growing sector, this role is responsible for providing high quality financial services to internal stakeholders including reporting, operational analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

Focus areas of the role include:

  • Providing high quality and timely financial analysis and management reports
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Cash and debt management including covenant calculations and interest management
  • Cash flow reporting and forecast, including management of cash and working capital
  • Management of various insurance matters including workers compensation management
  • Representing the Finance Department as a key business partner to other internal departments
  • Completing Ad-hoc requests and reports in a timely manner

About you
We are seeking an experienced Accountant who thinks outside the box and possesses the technical skills and knowledge to provide accurate, timely and meaningful financial services to the business. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships and work with multiple stakeholders.

To be successful in the role you must have the following:

  • Accounting qualification and CA or CPA qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience in a large professional organisation (Ideally in a similar role)
  • Experience in Aged Care is preferable but not essential
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with previous experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong modelling capabilities
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organisation
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to ‘think on your feet’
  • Drive for excellence, with demonstrated experience in implementing best practise processes
  • A team player – willingness to support and help others within the business
