Reporting to the Head of IT, the Resident Care Solutions Analyst will be responsible for the management of our Resident Care IT solutions including providing system support, configuration, vendor management and being the Subject Manager Expert for a suite of applications.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Ensuring prompt resolution of all incidents, escalating to vendor as required including incident trend analysis
  • Liaising with vendors regarding outages, system changes/configurations and effectively communicating changes to the business
  • Developing and delivering reporting and clinical statistics to business stakeholders
  • Liaising closely with application vendors regarding any system change/upgrade and administering configuration changes as required
  • Adhering to IT Service Management processes including incident, problem and change management
  • Assessing and reviewing current resident care solutions and service levels, and identifying improvement areas, including logging application enhancements from business stakeholders
  • Meeting regularly with vendors to monitor delivery against Service Levels and reviewing incident and change requests
  • Understanding and influencing the vendors product roadmap to meet Estia’s needs and ensuring its shared with key business stakeholders
  • Providing subject matter expertise on projects and participating in project planning/estimation and delivering project asks in a timely manner and within budget
  • Providing system training to users as required
  • Proactively managing risk and plan for contingency and ensuring all identified security issues are addressed
  • Establishing DR systems and processes and participating in periodic DR exercises

 The ideal candidate will have:

  • Have a minimum of 5+ years in a similar role
  • Previous experience with clinical/health/aged care systems preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills and SQL query experience (preferred)
  • IT Degree qualified preferred and ITIL certified 
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workload
  • Ability to work autonomously and work collaboratively in a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • Vendor liaison and management experience
