About the role
As a Quality Manager at Estia Health, you will ensure we keep our residents and employees safe and well in our homes, while also promoting the highest quality service possible. You will do this by conducting regular audits and reviews while working together with the home's leaders to address opportunities as they become apparent. Across our network of homes, you will lead operational change through engaging communication and education approaches to ensure changes are sustainable and deliver positive outcomes for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the corporate quality governance framework (excluding financial)
  • Monitor everyday quality through desk top analysis, peer to peer and site visit reviews; prepare reports and recommend improvements to procedures, policy and education.
  • Support the continuous improvement process in collaboration with the Regional Manager and the home's leadership team
  • Support multiple homes to improve quality outcomes through a positive coaching approach
  • Complete facility audits in accordance with Estia's audit methodology and quality framework
  • Actively support the ongoing development of the quality management system
  • Proactively lead a quality focus across our networks
The Ideal candidate will have
Reporting directly to the Quality and Risk Director, the successful candidate will have:
  • At least 5 years' experience in a health/aged care setting with exposure to accreditation and risk management
  • Demonstrated leadership capability
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health/aged care policy impacting on quality
  • Demonstrated ability to drive quality improvements leading to an improved customer experience
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of quality management processes
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive role model with the ability to drive change in our homes
  • Tertiary qualified (in a related discipline)
