About the role:
The successful Accounts Payable Officer will be reporting the AP Team Leader with the key responsibilities of the role listed below:    

  • Process all creditor invoices ensuring all invoices are processed within 48 hours of receipt based on the assigned category 
  • Ensure all invoices are appropriately authorized before uploading into Epicor
  • Ensure all invoices are coded correctly before entering into Epicor
  • Ensure all items which are more than 60 days over invoice date, are cleared by the following month in cooperation with the AP Major Reconciliation officer
  • Petty Cash reimbursement based on assigned regional facilities and top up completed within 48 hours
  • Monthly Statement reconciliation based on category for suppliers other than major suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with GST requirements
  • Participating in daily invoice allocation
  • Relieve the reception if required

About you: 
The successful candidate will be an experienced Accounts Payable professional, with demonstrated experience working in a high volume environment.  

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Proven time management and organisational skills
• High levels of communication skills 
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• An understanding of accounting practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to meet deadlines and strive towards KPI's
• Service orientated - actively look for ways to help clients 
• A self-starter who takes initiative and looks to improve processes
